about

I'm releasing this song for free on my 47th birthday because I don't look a day over 36 and I wanted to share it with you.

I've got a lot of songs that don't make it onto albums. Sometimes because they don't fit in with the other songs. Other times, it is because people that love me say, "please don't ever play that song for anyone else or me ever again."

This song, "Brrrmmm," falls into the first category. It's about my 2001 Chevy Tahoe, which I love despite that it is falling apart. I guess I could have added a verse about the bungee cord that's holding up the driver's side headlight, but I decided that this pic was good enough.

Thanks for listening. And Unlikely Optimist vinyl is coming out in late September with a pre-order link next month.

P.S. this song will self-destruct in 30 days so download it while you can.
